Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Experience Required: Minimum 8 years

Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering and a proven track record of working with modern data solutions. Experience with Microsoft Fabric is essential, as it will play a key role in our data strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines. Implement robust ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources.

Architecture & Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect data solutions that align with business objectives. Leverage Microsoft Fabric to build integrated data platforms and ensure seamless data flow.

Data Modeling & Warehousing: Develop data models and design data storage solutions. Optimize data warehousing solutions to support analytics and reporting.

Performance & Quality: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and quality. Implement data governance and security best practices.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance the data engineering ecosystem. Mentor junior team members and promote best practices across the team.

Required Qualifications:

Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related field. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database design. Expertise in ETL tools, data integration, and pipeline orchestration. Programming skills in languages such as Python/Spark. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and it's data services. Experience with modern data warehousing and big data technologies. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in data engineering or cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate).

Experience with DevOps practices and containerization technologies. Proven track record in leading data initiatives and mentoring teams.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities.
