Senior Audit Role for Commercial Real Estate

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Senior Audit professional specializing in U.S. Commercial Real Estate audits.

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries under US GAAP and US GAAS.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls.
  • Coordinate day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff.
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors/Managers and Directors on work status and client issues.

Requirements:

  • CPA (or in process) or CA with 3-5 years of experience within a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Industry exposure: Commercial Real Estate.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
  • Approaches projects with a sense of urgency.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Knowledge of Caseware, caseview, or IDEA is a plus.
