Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director to lead our media planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrated media planning, digital and traditional channels, and measurement tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute comprehensive media strategies across various platforms including digital, television, print, radio, out-of-home, social, and emerging channels.
  • Align media plans with client objectives, brand positioning, and target audience insights to deliver effective campaigns.
  • Incorporate data-driven insights, competitive analysis, and market trends to optimize media investments and achieve maximum ROI.

Campaign Leadership

  • Oversee media planning processes from brief to execution, ensuring seamless alignment across teams and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate media effectiveness, provide recommendations, and refine strategies based on performance metrics to drive campaign success.
  • Guide multi-market and cross-channel campaigns, ensuring consistency and scalability while meeting business objectives.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with creative, analytics, and client servicing teams to integrate media strategies with broader campaign goals and deliver cohesive results.
  • Presentation of strategic plans and recommendations to senior leadership and client teams to secure buy-in and support.
  • Build trusted relationships with vendors, platforms, and external partners to enhance media capabilities and drive business growth.

Team Development

  • Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing media planning team that drives innovation and excellence.
  • Foster knowledge-sharing, professional growth, and a culture of continuous learning within the media planning function.
  • Promote best practices, planning frameworks, and efficient workflows to improve productivity and efficiency.

Process & Governance

  • Establish and implement planning processes, governance models, and performance measurement frameworks to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Ensure that media plans adhere to budget, timelines, and brand guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement in media effectiveness and planning tools to stay ahead of industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of media planning experience with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and driving business results.
