Electrical Design Assistant Manager

A well-rounded professional is sought to lead electrical design projects from conceptualization to completion, driving innovative solutions for DC SMPS-based Power Systems, UPS Panels, and Distribution Panels. As an Electrical Design Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects that meet the technical requirements of clients, while adhering to safety standards like IEC 60204-1 & IEC 61439-1-2.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical requirements, prepare detailed design documents, and review engineering drawings and design calculations in line with technical specifications and relevant engineering standards. Experience in electro-mechanical designing of Electrical Panels/UPS Panels, AutoCAD for SLD and Wiring Diagrams, and knowledge of electrical switchgear, cables, bus-bar sizing, mechanical designing, wire harness, product quality, and safety norms are essential.

  • Design Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive designs for DC SMPS-based Power Systems, UPS Panels, and Distribution Panels
  • Plan and execute projects to meet client requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery
  • Provide proactive support to production and quality teams
  • Validate and characterize prototypes

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical design
  • B-Tech in Electrical/Electronics
  • Strong understanding of IEC 60204-1 & IEC 61439-1-2 safety standards
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software
