Electrical Design Engineer

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems in the automotive, battery, or EV sector. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong expertise in product development and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems from concept to production start.
  • Develop product requirements, prototype samples, cost estimates, and testing plans.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to meet deliverables and timelines.
  • Drive engineering solutions through design reviews, FMEA, and risk mitigation.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to identify opportunities.
  • Partner with manufacturing for new product launches, cost reduction initiatives, and tooling requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum).
  • 7+ years' experience in automotive, battery, EV sensor, or related product environment.
  • Strong communication skills – fluent in English (written & spoken).
  • Proficient in technical report writing and public speaking.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment/tools for development, testing, and validation.
  • Expertise in circuit design, schematic layout, and DFM for PCBAs with contract manufacturers.
  • Skilled in the design of experiments and product validation testing.
