Electrical System Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing electrical systems for vehicles, with a strong understanding of powertrain engineering.

Job Description
  • Design and develop electrical systems for vehicles, including high-voltage cables, busbars, and battery management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective implementation of design changes.
  • Develop harness routing and packaging plans to meet safety and performance requirements.
  • Analyze energy storage system sizing for targeted vehicle performance.
  • Conduct stack-up analysis on designed components to ensure reliability and durability.
  • Develop test cases and design rules to validate electrical system performance.
  • Benchmark and develop new concepts for electrical system designs.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality and process issues.
  • Create and manage DFMEA, PFMEA, BOD, and BOP documents.
  • Comply with grade, EMC, and safety compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Hands-on experience with designing and developing EDS HV harness and busbars, BMS.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up along with sheet metal and plastic part design.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Good knowledge of tooling feasibility, raw materials, and their sources, and familiarity with full design life cycle process.
  • Knowledge of EDU, Battery Modules, Busbar, DCDC converter, and motors.
