About the Role

AXA XL is a leading provider of specialty risk solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Security Risk Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security department, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating security risks across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business and IT stakeholders in creating Application Risk Assessments (ISARA)
  • Act as a liaison between IS, IT, and business stakeholders to evaluate risks associated with applications
  • Help prepare and format ISARA in associated tools
  • Identify key information about applications and perform application impact assessments
  • Perform control assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of controls
  • Rate identified risks and update global methodology
  • Propose remediation actions and define action plans
  • Monitor remediation of risks in risk register
  • Review most important changes to applications and ensure those changes have been updated into ISARAs
  • Communicate weekly on top identified risks currently monitored
  • Ensure up-to-date Information Security risks metrics are ready to be distributed as required
  • Produce monthly reports to local IT, Security, and Risk governance on residual risks acknowledged/accepted and monitored
Requirements
  • Fluent in English
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Risk Management and/or Information Security
  • Expert in synthesizing and clearly communicating complex information to all audiences up to C-Level leaders
  • Experience in articulating risks in business language and advising on appropriate risk management action
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to create clear, concise, and engaging presentations breaking down difficult problems
  • Expert analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Desired Skills and Abilities
  • Experience in multinational companies
  • Effective knowledge of Risk management
  • Effective knowledge of Risk management frameworks (ISO 3100X, NIST 800-30/37/39, ENISA, EBIOS, OCTAVE, FAIR)
  • Effective knowledge of Information Security frameworks (Mitre ATT&CK, NIST, ISO 2700X ...)
  • Experience in information security management reporting and related methodologies
  • Information Security and/or Information Technology industry certification (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
