Game Level Designer Job Description">

We are seeking an experienced and talented Game Level Designer to join our team. As a Game Level Designer, you will be responsible for designing engaging and challenging levels for various mobile games.

  • You will work closely with Product Managers to conceive and create game levels that meet the required standards.
  • You will design levels for different genres of mobile games, including action, adventure, puzzle, and strategy games.
  • You will create detailed Game Design Documents (GDDs) following industry best practices, including references and guidelines for art and development teams.
  • You will stay up-to-date with the latest innovations and best practices in game design and share your knowledge with the game design/product teams.
  • You will work with the Product Manager and analytics team to understand update cycles and requirements, preparing necessary design documents.
  • You will actively participate in the production phase with creative, art, development, and QC teams to ensure design objectives are met.
  • You will design missions and prototype gameplay variations, play-test them, and incorporate feedback from players.
  • You will create user-friendly touch-screen controls suitable for mobile platforms.
  • You will continuously research and play other games for inspiration on smart game level design.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • You have deep knowledge of Unity and experience designing levels in Unity.
  • You have experience in designing games for iOS and Android.
  • You are familiar with F2P (Free-to-Play) games.
  • You have experience creating Game Design Documents from concept briefs, defining game rules, level progression, and UI design.
  • You are flexible and ready to explore any game genre as required.
  • You are passionate about casual and mobile games, regularly playing iOS/Android games.
  • You have strong communication, English writing, and presentation skills to convey design ideas effectively.
  • You can create clear game flows and UI flows.
  • You have knowledge of successful mobile games, market trends, and design elements that contribute to their success.
  • You can understand player emotions and game audiences.
    • You are a graduate/diploma holder in Game Designing or equivalent educational background.
