As a Financial Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our organization. Your expertise in finance master data lifecycle management, data quality rule definition, and data profiling will be instrumental in ensuring seamless financial operations.

This position requires a deep understanding of SAP Finance Master Data, FI/CO modules, and T-codes. You must have strong knowledge of core financial processes, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cost Accounting. Additionally, experience with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, ECC FI/CO, MDG, SAP FC (Bison), and Workday Financials is necessary.

Responsibilities include leading or supporting finance master data workstreams in ERP implementations, defining functional specs for migration, participating in mapping, transformation, cleansing, validation, and UAT, and executing data loads using LSMW, BDC, Workday EIBs, or other mass data tools.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SOX compliance, audit procedures, and internal controls. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and SAP IS is required. Skilled in finance master data lifecycle processes, data quality rule definition, documentation, and implementation, data profiling, cleansing, and standardization, pre-load and post-load validations, exception handling, reconciliation, and functional input and support for BODS logic, mapping, and validations.

You will serve as a data steward for key finance master data elements, managing the full lifecycle of records, including creation, extension, modification, blocking/deletion, and reviews. Ensuring data requests meet standards and comply with financial controls and audit requirements is also crucial.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use SE16N, SQVI, and custom reports for data analysis.

  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance Master Data, with deep expertise in FI/CO modules and SAP FI T-codes.
  • Strong knowledge of core financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting).
  • ERP Platform experience: SAP S/4HANA, ECC FI/CO, MDG, SAP FC (Bison), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Workday Financials.
  • Strong understanding of SOX compliance, audit procedures, and internal controls.
  • Hands-on with tools: LSMW, BDC, BODS, Smart Sheets, EIB.
  • Proficient in Excel, and familiar with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SAP IS.
