Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of engineering activities related to civil and structural engineering of solar PV power plants. They will work closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering drawings and documents, in line with the project schedule.

This includes reviewing designs created by design engineers and draughts persons, checking design and sizing calculations of engineering electrical equipment and obtaining approvals from stakeholders. Additionally, they will coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure inter-departmental checks and provide support to site execution teams.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for estimating and planning man-hour requirements, reviewing BOQs and submitting them to contracts teams, providing technical clarifications, and inspecting equipment from finalized vendors.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to multitask, deliver multiple things on time, and provide high-quality engineering services. The candidate will also be responsible for collecting inputs for project details, such as soil reports and boundary coordinates, and coordinating with operations teams to obtain approval for design specifications.

In terms of technical expertise, the ideal candidate should have knowledge of engineering activities for civil and structural covering control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, inverter rooms, grading, roads, and drainage. They should also be able to review vendor engineering documents with respect to civil and structural design.
