Cost Manager Specialist

A Quantity Surveyor plays a crucial role in managing costs associated with construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying and a strong understanding of civil engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Study project scope to ensure alignment with design requirements.
- Validate technical specifications received from the design team.
- Optimize specifications without compromising client needs.
- Verify bill of quantities (BOQs) and backup workings.
- Present BOQs and solutions to management for approval.
- Check and verify request for payment (RA) bills and final bills.
- Prepare amendments as necessary.
- Analyze budget costs based on benchmark cost matrices.
- Submit alternative budget options considering different design approaches.
- Explore new products and obtain approvals.
- Propose optimization options in budgets.
- Meet tight deadlines for budget requirements.
- Prepare reports on cost analysis of projects as per management's instructions.
