Key Position: Learning and Development Strategist

Job Description:

This is a senior-level role responsible for leading the organization's Learning and Development (L&D) function across multiple manufacturing locations in India. The successful candidate will drive organizational capability, leadership development, and talent readiness through strategic planning, program execution, and stakeholder management.

The L&D Strategist will spearhead the creation and execution of Management Development Centers (MDCs), Assessment Centers, and Capability Building Frameworks aligned with business goals. This includes designing and implementing a pan-India L&D strategy that drives business transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Talent & Leadership Development: Design and execute succession planning frameworks, high-potential talent programs, and customized learning journeys for different employee segments.
  • Learning Infrastructure & Innovation: Integrate digital learning platforms, promote blended learning models, and leverage AI and analytics for learning impact measurement and personalization.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: MSW/MBA / PGDM in HR or Organizational Development from a Tier 1/2 institute.
  • Experience: 10–18 years in L&D, out of which at least 5 years in automotive or manufacturing sector, with proven experience in setting up MDCs/Assessment Centers and leading capability building programs.
  • Skills & Competencies: Strategic thinking, expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, digital learning tools, stakeholder management, analytical mindset, and passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
