We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Configurator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical and functional support to end-users of applicable systems, managing system availability, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
You will collaborate with technology partners to resolve issues impacting current production systems, and communicate statuses and updates to business and technology stakeholders.
SAP/IS Retail configuration and integration for mid-sized projects and small enhancements to existing projects will be performed by you.
You must have proficiency in cross-functional modules like SD and MM.
- Interaction and support of application users ensure the availability of applications in the Production environment.
- Analysis and research of service desk tickets resolve defects identified.
- Communication of the final solution to the business and coordination of implementation in the production environment, updating system documentation.
- Cross-functional team collaboration understands and supports new projects.
- Gathering detail requirements from business users for approved mid-sized projects, bug fixes, and minor enhancements to existing projects.
- Performing design for approved mid-sized projects and minor enhancements to existing projects.
- Program configuration/modification, data setup, and cleansing activities are performed.
- Coordinate User Acceptance testing (UAT) with the Business Client.
- Provide System Requirement Documents (SRD) and Systems External Specifications (SES) documents to the UAT and System test groups.
- Coordinate training and rollout plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
- Direction and collaboration with cross-functional teams and assigned contractors are provided.
- Interface with Business Stakeholders, cross-functional teams, IT Infrastructure teams, and Development teams to ensure business requirements are properly configured and delivered.
- Willingness to be available 24/7 for severity one issues.
