Job Overview

The Adopt Enablement Data Migration Expert plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end execution of data migration activities. This expert collaborates closely with local business and functional teams while acting as a bridge between the Global Data Migration Expert (GDME) and Data Migration Execution teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead deployment wave focal points for assigned data objects in scope for deployment or local data migration projects.
  • Collaborate with Business Data Owners, Functional Experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and deployment teams to ensure seamless data migration.
  • Drive migration activities for deployment projects, verifying data transformation tools and outputs.
  • Manage DMW load file preparation, perform initial verification, and execute DVT scripts.
  • Coordinate defect resolution or escalate to GDMEs as needed, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of ERP project implementation experience with strong data migration expertise.
  • Proven experience in data migration execution across multi-country, multi-system environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS, GxP, and CSV requirements.
  • SAP Certified in at least one relevant functional area, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, matrix-based organization, managing issues and tracking progress.
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages preferred.
