We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist with expertise in Excel for data analysis and transformation, Quality Assurance (QA) testing, and accountancy. The ideal candidate will be proficient in extracting, transforming, and loading data from legacy systems to new platforms, including financial and accounting datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data migration projects by utilizing advanced Excel functions, formulas, and macros for data validation, cleansing, and transformation.
  • Develop and execute QA test plans to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with business and accounting rules after migration.
  • Communicate testing results and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and team members.
  • Collaborate with team members including developers, analysts, business users, and accounting staff to define and implement migration strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VBA macros.
  • Solid background in QA testing, including writing test cases, performing functional testing, and data validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong mathematical skills for data calculations and validation.
  • Experience with data migration tools and processes is a plus.
