Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with labor regulations, including minimum wage and bonus acts.
  • Promote harmonious industrial relations within the factory and provide regular feedback to management.
  • Ensure comprehensive employee insurance coverage for permanent and temporary staff.
  • Oversee recruitment, attendance tracking, wage calculation, and enforcement of discipline for both permanent and contract workers.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment through motivational activities and lead initiatives on the shop floor.
  • Manage plant administration functions, including:
  • Plant security and deployment of safety equipment on the shop floor
  • Housekeeping and maintenance of factory premises
  • Canteen management (quality, hygiene, cost control)
  • Pantry management
  • Company car pool management
  • Office furniture upkeep

Requirements

  • A strong background in HR, preferably with an MBA in Industrial Relations.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, managing a workforce of 200+ employees.
