Project Lead - Architect Position

We are seeking a highly experienced architect to lead impactful consultancy projects, driving innovative design and regulatory excellence across diverse sectors.

The successful candidate will have experience in preparing and submitting statutory documents to municipal and specialist agencies, and will be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Design:
    • Lead large-scale consultancy projects with full design and regulatory strategy oversight.
    • Own small to mid-value projects independently — managing design, compliance, and seamless delivery.
  • Technical & Quality Assurance (Including MEP):
    • Perform thorough reviews of architectural, civil, and MEP drawings for accuracy and compliance.
    • Identify and resolve design or coordination issues in MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
  • Compliance & Permit Liaison:
    • Own the permit application strategy and maintain proactive communication with regulatory authorities.
    • Interpret and enforce local/national building codes, fire regulations, and municipal by-laws.
  • Team & Process Management:
    • Mentor architects, drafters, and interns to ensure well-coordinated technical outputs.
    • Uphold high-quality standards for documentation and design integrity.

Requirements:

  • Accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience leading multidisciplinary commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.
  • Exceptional technical communicator.
