About the Role

As a Technical Operations Manager at Accor, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall activities of the Engineering Department. Your primary function will be to direct and coordinate these efforts, ensuring that they align with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conform to and adhere to policies & procedures and rules & regulations as laid down by ibis, Nashik in order to achieve the highest levels of guest service.
  • Maintain regular inventories of technical equipment.
  • Ensure quality is adhered to in all aspects of the job, by the Engineering team.
  • Bring any matters which may affect the interests of ACCOR to the attention of the Management.
  • Above and beyond regular stipulated responsibilities and duties, facilitate the functioning of or oversee the functioning of Housekeeping Department or any other Department in the Hotel when necessitated by circumstances and as mandated by the General Manager.
Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering Planning
  • Identify major facilities and equipment requirements for the department and the property.
  • Ensure correct maintenance of all equipment in conjunction with the other user departments & stay abreast with technological advances in surveillance & safety of the equipment.
People Management
  • Establish and maintain seamless coordination & co-operation with all departments of ibis, Nashik to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
  • Provide effective support to the team to enable them to deliver effective and efficient services.
  • Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Motivate and develop staff to ensure smooth functioning of the department.
  • Ensure that the team is trained in all safety provisions.
Financial Management
  • Evaluate optimal use of resources and educate the team on cost-effective resource utilization.
Operational Management
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing department to obtain relevant data, float inquiries and quotations.
  • Supervise upkeep of plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Check and inspect machinery and other equipment.
  • Check maintenance and upkeep of records and statements.
  • Prepare duty roster.
  • Inspect preventive and routine maintenance of all equipment.
  • Upkeep of equipment by constant upgrading.

Estimated salary: ₹85,000 - ₹1,20,000 per month.
