Job Description

Lead a high-performing team of project managers to deliver complex projects on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will be responsible for managing a mix of full-time and contractor PMs (7-10 member team) to deliver Sustaining and NPI programs. This includes managing and influencing stakeholders, including business, product, operations, and development team members on solution delivery and scope.

Leverage Fortive Business System tools to implement visual management and daily management. Drive improvements in portfolio-level development processes to increase product quality, program cycle time, and development costs. Continuously look for improvements in visual management to L1 & L2 management teams.

Maintain accurate portfolio-level capacity plans and up-to-date project assets and metrics. Create a positive work environment with open, honest communication and a clear path to escalate risks and issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of project management experience and managing a PMO
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other engineering degree
  • Experience with managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality of projects
  • Experience in Agile product development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP Certification desired
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Jama, Miro, MSTeams
  • Implementation history of complex engineering releases
  • Change agent who is a positive organizational influence
