Our ideal candidate will be a talented and highly motivated individual who can bring their creative vision to life as a Concept Artist.

The Role:

  • Create detailed drawings and paintings of environments, characters, buildings, vehicles, and props that are engaging and immersive.
  • Liaise with the producer, art director, and game developer to ensure that the brief is met and that the project is progressing smoothly.
  • Conduct thorough research on concept subjects, styles, and genres to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Respond positively and proactively to feedback and continue to develop concepts and designs throughout the production process.
  • Utilize traditional and technological approaches to create designs in 2D and 3D through drawing and painting.
  • Pitch ideas clearly to the client and design team and adapt and refine work based on feedback.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Confidently use creative programs and technologies such as Photoshop, Painter, SketchUp, and Illustrator.
  • Meet strict deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Degree in fine art or related field.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop is essential.
  • Bold and inspirational under tight deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and drive to succeed.

  • Avid gamer and mobile app enthusiast.
  • Portfolio showcasing interesting, stylized characters and environments.
  • Strong foundation in traditional arts: color theory, figure drawing, traditional 2D animation, illustration, background layout, and/or painting.
