Software Quality Assurance Leader

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead software testing and quality processes across projects and products.

  • Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the overall QA strategy, standards, and processes.
  • Create test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
  • Ensure testing is integrated into the SDLC/Agile development lifecycle.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, testers, and automation specialists.
  • Assign tasks, review performance, and build a culture of quality ownership.
  • Manage the hiring, training, and career development of QA staff.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure defect-free releases.
  • Track defects, prioritize bugs, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for software quality (defect density, test coverage, release quality).
  • Communicate QA progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Provide quality metrics and dashboards to leadership.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or related field.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
