Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Hedge Fund Accounting Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful contribution to the financial industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and improving hedge fund accounting workflows, including NAV calculation, trade capture, cash/position reconciliations, performance fees, and investor allocations. They will work closely with fund accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and improve hedge fund accounting workflows
  • Document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements
  • Collaborate with fund accounting teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of hedge fund accounting concepts, including NAV, accruals, P&L attribution, fee structures, and side pockets. You should also have experience with fund administration systems and business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and process modeling.

In addition to your technical skills, you should have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
