Role Overview

Leadership & Student Engagement

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with fresh leads (students/aspirants).
  • Introduce educational and career opportunities to prospective students.

Counselling & Support

  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with students.
  • Assess their academic goals, aspirations, and preferences.
  • Provide tailored counselling to help them secure admission in the right colleges.

Education & Training

  • Design and deliver workshops, group sessions, and seminars to educate students on academic and career pathways.
  • Develop resources (presentations, guides, FAQs) to support student decision-making.

Student Development Support

  • Support students in developing a career development plan and management strategy.
  • Provide structured guidance on academic progression, interview preparation, and related areas.

Record-Keeping & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, leads, and student progress.
  • Update records regularly for tracking and follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Career Counselling, Student Counselling skills
  • The capability of engaging with diverse student populations
  • Career Development, Career Management skills
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Counselling, or a related field
