Pavement Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Pavement/Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Pune/Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our Geotechnical Department, you will be responsible for designing and evaluating pavement structures for infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design new pavement structures using international standard procedures and criteria such as AASHTO, Austroads, USACE, etc.
  • Evaluate and rehabilitate existing pavements using mechanistic design methods and finite element modelling.
  • Prepare scope of works and tender documents for pavement assessment testing programmes.
  • Coordinate with clients and contractors to resolve technical issues and provide value engineering exercises.
  • Conduct airfield, sea, and land ports pavement design according to international aviation and other relevant standards.

Requirements:

  • Masters in civil engineering or B.Tech. Civil Engineering, M. Tech. in Pavement or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 2 to 10 years of experience in pavement design of infrastructure projects.
  • Basic geotechnical background design knowledge and basic knowledge of pavement construction materials specifications.

Additional Skills:

  • BIM modelling for pavement design using Civil 3D, REVIT, and NAVISWORKS.
  • Preparation of pavement design drawings, reports, and presentations.
