IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned System Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining our SGGG-FSI Diamond, Microsoft Windows server, and SQL database environment.

Key responsibilities of this position include planning, managing, and executing technology initiatives using project management best practices during regular and after business hours periods. The successful candidate will design, develop, implement, and maintain server, database, and network infrastructure solutions. Additionally, they will proactively monitor and tune corporate database and infrastructure environments for optimum performance.

The ideal candidate will have 8 years of hands-on experience in a Microsoft server environment, with certifications such as MSCE being an asset. They will also have 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure environment, with Azure Solutions Architect Expert certified being an asset. Furthermore, the candidate should have 5 years of Microsoft SQL administration, configuration, installation, and maintenance. A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in a Cisco router, switch, and firewall environment is also required, with Cisco CCNA or CCNP being desired but not required in lieu of experience configuring Cisco switches and routers.

To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills, time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, self-driven ability to work with minimal supervision, and strong attention to detail.

• University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the field.
• Relevant certificates and training in Information Technology.
