Engine Calibration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Engine Calibration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our calibration group, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and expertise in engine-related calibration tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement engine calibration activities as per approved model strategy, focusing on the implementation of relevant technologies and ensuring delivery within critical-to-quality (CTQ) parameters.
  • Analyze test results and decide on the next calibration steps accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Team Lead/Expert Engineers to execute engine calibration projects, including the implementation of core technical solutions meeting CTQ targets.
  • Develop and execute design of experiments (DOE) for engine calibration.
  • Ensure the creation and management of base calibration files using modern file management systems.
  • Support report preparation and provide input for calibration file history documentation.
  • Manage test matrices and evaluate the proper functions of electronic interfaces.
  • Execute End-of-Batch Diagnosis (EOBD) and function calibrations, as well as evaporative emission calibrations.
  • Maintain compliance with our company's own calibration process and methodology, escalating any unresolvable conflicts with CTQ targets.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in engine calibration, with a strong understanding of relevant technologies and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical process control.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
