Job Description

Migrating automated test equipment (ATE) test programs is a crucial task that requires exceptional skills and experience. We are seeking a Test Development Engineer 2 to join our team for a project focused on migrating existing test programs from various platforms to the NI STS platform.

The primary responsibility of this position will be to migrate existing test programs, develop new test programs, and maintain characterization programs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of test program development and debugging, as well as proficiency in C++/C# and experience with op-amps, converters, and complex System-on-Chips (SOCs).

This is a challenging role that requires strong problem-solving skills, good coding and debugging skills, and the ability to work with various hardware platforms. The successful candidate will be able to drive automation and test optimizations to reduce test cost, enhance product quality, improve manufacturing efficiency, and accelerate manufacturing stability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 4-7 years of industry experience in IC Test or equivalent field
  • Strong experience in semiconductor test engineering and practices
  • Proficiency in C++/C# and solid understanding of test program development and debugging
  • Knowledge of basic statistical analysis for test correlation
  • Familiarity with test instrumentation and the ability to work with various hardware platforms

Test Development Engineer Requirements:

  • Must be a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent problem-solving skills

  • Must be proficient in multiple programming languages, including C++ and C#
  • Must have experience working with various hardware platforms and software tools
  • Must have a solid understanding of test program development and debugging principles
