Job Title

Closure Door Trim Design and Development Expertise Automotive

  • Lead the engineering design technical development and delivery of Interior components for new or ongoing programmes through to launch at the manufacturing plant achieving Supplier Parts Submission Warrant in line with programme timing ensuring integrity of the Cabin and vehicle systems across specific programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering the commodity plan to quality cost and time maintaining the Worldwide Engineering Release System owning and delivering the Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning deliverables managing Change Request expenditure forecasting and relevant supplier teams in support of delivery of the programme milestones.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience of leading the resolution of business technical and process issues within a Project Team environment a good working knowledge of product creation & delivery change control product definition and change management processes knowledge of automotive Body Cabin systems plastic & Sheet metal materials Design rules Bill of design Bill of Process DFMEA DVP DFM Part & assembly level tests etc.
  • A successful history of delivery within the automotive sector is essential along with a good understanding of Enovia Teamcenter Engineering Part release process and system engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design function performance production & manufacturing requirements and excellent PC literacy including Microsoft Project Power Point Excel and Word.

Additionally the candidate should have expertise in CAD tools such as Catia V5/V6/TCE/Digibuck be proficient in using CATIA V5 & V6 have good knowledge of Domain Knowledge Parametric Modelling BOM creation and update GD&T and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
