Technical Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Leader to oversee the delivery of complex initiatives within our product management pipeline.

  • About the Role:
  • This position requires strong technical expertise in data engineering and related technologies, as well as experience leading cross-disciplinary teams.
  • The successful candidate will drive the design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions, ensuring long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Responsibilities include providing technical guidance, contributing to agile scrum ceremonies, and collaborating with stakeholders to define data governance policies and standards.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in software development, with a proven track record of people leadership and mentoring.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modelling, data pipelines, data consumption, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience with delivery approaches such as TDD, CI, and infrastructure automation, as well as a commitment to code quality and attention to detail.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with Big Query, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Python libraries (Pandas, Requests, JSON), Docker, Kafka, Linux shell scripting, Git/GitHub, AWS (S3, Lambda, IaC), Airflow, and interacting with REST APIs.
