Your Role in This Mission

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and iterate on learner and teacher dashboards using Next.js (TypeScript, Node.js, App Router, React Server Components).
  2. Design secure Supabase edge functions, Auth flows, and storage with Row-Level Security.
  3. Model and optimize content, progress, and analytics data in MongoDB (indexes, aggregation pipelines).
  4. Integrate real-time captioning and sign-language video assets.
  5. Create data pipelines for AI models.
  6. Write unit/integration tests (Vitest/Jest, Playwright) and perform peer code reviews.
  7. Profile performance, shrink bundle sizes, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  8. Collaborate with Operations to roll out releases to partner Deaf schools, gather feedback, and squash production bugs quickly.
Requirements
  • Pursuing/completed a CS-related degree or equivalent self-taught experience (we give more importance to practical experience).
  • 6+ months hands-on with React/Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Working knowledge of Supabase (Auth, Postgres, Storage) or strong SQL fundamentals.
  • Basic proficiency in MongoDB CRUD, schema design, and aggregation.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub flow and modern JS tooling (pnpm or yarn, eslint, prettier).
