Software Development Engineer

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced software development engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality solutions, working closely with stakeholders to understand the scope of deliverables and expected timelines.

  • Design and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Participate in release/sprint planning phases, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop unit test cases to ensure code quality.
  • Debug issues and provide fixes quickly, minimizing turnaround time.
  • Analyze and optimize existing database stored procedures/SQLs, as well as develop new ones.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and challenges effectively to the team.
  • Evaluate and implement best coding practices and quality control measures throughout the development process.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance product quality through optimized development methodologies and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Python programming.
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases (Sybase, Oracle, MSSql) for at least 3 years.
  • Familiarity with PLSQL and ability to debug complex SQLs/stored procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts.
  • Ability to apply suitable design patterns during code development.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (Subversion, GIT).
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-learner.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Candidate should have hands knowledge on Python at least for 3 - 5 years.
  • Should have excellent working knowledge of any relational database (Sybase, Oracle, MSSql) at least for 3 years.
  • Should have good working knowledge of PLSQL. Should be able to debug Stored Procedures/complex SQLs.
  • Should have working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems.
  • Good knowledge of Object-oriented concepts.
  • Can understand and apply suitable design patterns while designing/developing code.
  • Good knowledge on version control tool (Subversion, GIT).
  • Should be good at problem solving and debugging with excellent analytical skills.
  • Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good team player.
  • Self-motivated and self-learner.
