Financial Analyst - CA Inter

About the Role

This position involves driving financial performance through MIS and P&L reporting, variance analysis, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in accounting and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and review of MIS, accounting, and handling respective line items of P&L reporting.
  • Drive automation initiatives in MIS and reporting wherever required.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis for revenue & reversals, and identify the key drivers of variances.
  • Provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
  • Prepare audit schedules, aging reports, financial disclosures, and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Assist in implementation of internal financial controls and accounting policies.
  • Coordinate with internal auditors, statutory auditors, and consultants during due diligence and audits.
  • Manage accounts receivables and coordinate with stakeholders for timely collections.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify gaps in existing processes and propose/implement improvements.
Requirements
  • CA Inter qualified with 2+ years of post-qualification experience in MIS, accounting, financial reporting, or related domains.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, and audit practices.
  • Hands-on experience with variance analysis, ageing, receivables management, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, accounting software (SAP/Oracle/Zoho Books), and familiarity with automation tools preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
