Job Description:

The Senior Financial Planning Analyst will lead the financial planning process and solution components of the Planning and Performance Management (PPM) environment. Key responsibilities include providing functional and technical support for the SAC application to all regional business units and global financial functions.

The ideal candidate will establish and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders, including Power Users, data providers, system integrators, and third-party consulting support teams. They will participate in regional and global business projects to develop and enhance the PPM system, improving current processes and best practices.

Maintenance and enhancement of the financial planning solution are critical to this role, aligning with the overall PPM Roadmap. The analyst must maintain operating procedures and training documentation for PPM users, build and maintain PPM models, reports, and dimensions, as well as build and maintain all PPM calculations and system logic.

A key aspect of this position is managing regular system maintenance and ensuring timely access to the PPM system. Collaboration within a team is essential, requiring common and individual objectives.

  • Level of planning solution adoption: successful completion of business planning and forecasting processes within agreed timeframes
  • End-user satisfaction

  • Accuracy of reporting and trust in the data
  • Timely resolution of solution defects (within SLA)
  • Quality and accuracy of design documentation
Authority and Decision-Making:
  • Technical changes and improvements in the SAC planning solution
  • Design and development of SAC solutions based on business requirements
  • Decision-making for best practice solutions addressing specific business needs
  • Controlled access to the system following correct procedures
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of previous experience in a similar position
  • Financial planning process and application knowledge, preferably with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Working with FP&A teams
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
