Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Search Specialist to join our team.

A successful candidate will have a strong background in search engine technologies, including Apache Solr and/or OpenSearch, with expertise in schema design, indexing pipelines, query parsing, clustering, and replication.

In addition, they should possess solid knowledge of .NET development, specifically C# programming, including asynchronous patterns and dependency-injection frameworks.

Proven track record of deploying workloads on AWS, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, or CDK, is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search relevance concepts, such as tokenization, stemming, analyzers, boosting, and query-time vs index-time strategies.

CI/CD and automated testing expertise, including unit, integration, and performance testing, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient search engine architectures
  • Develop high-performance search applications using Apache Solr and/or OpenSearch
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based search solutions
  • Optimize search relevancy through expert analysis and tuning
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for search applications
