Azure Data Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced data architect to lead our team in designing and implementing robust data architecture solutions on Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, database management, and software development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data architecture solutions on Azure
  • Lead the transformation of legacy systems to modern graph databases
  • Plan and execute data migration strategies
  • Utilize Azure data services such as Cosmos DB
  • Develop and maintain data models for graph databases
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data architecture and database management
  • Strong expertise in Azure data services and graph databases
  • Extensive experience with data migration tools and strategies
  • Proficient in data modeling and database design
  • Experience with Azure Cosmos DB and other graph database technologies
Technical Skills:
  • Azure Cosmos DB
  • Data Modeling for Graph Databases
  • Data Migration Tools and Strategies
  • Scripting Languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
Good to Have Skills:
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
  • Knowledge of Virtuoso Graph Database and SPARQL Protocol and RDF Query Language
