Job Title: Business Analyst

About the Role:

  • As a senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting workshops with stakeholders to gather detailed business and technical requirements.
  • You will analyze and document business processes, workflows, and data flows, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that functional specifications are comprehensive, clear, and aligned with business goals.
  • This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into functional requirements.
  • You will have proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst, with a strong understanding of both business and functional requirements and also technical aspects of projects.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases is essential.
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) should be familiar to you.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, onsite teams, and offshore teams based in Hyderabad, are required.
  • Able to multitask, work under pressure, and flexible work hours may be needed to accommodate project deadlines and stakeholder availability.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst on development projects.
  • Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst, with a strong understanding of both business and functional requirements and also technical aspects of projects.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with US-based customers, onsite teams, and offshore teams based in Hyderabad.
  • Ability to multi-task as needed, work under pressure, and flexible work hours may be required to accommodate project deadlines and stakeholder availability.
  • Self-starter, comfortable in early-stage start-up environment.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
  • Certification in Business Analysis like CBAP, PMI-PBA etc., will be added advantage.
  • Experience with requirements management tools and techniques.
