Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of goods and services at the right cost. This involves maintaining timely delivery of materials to sites and making timely payments to suppliers.

  • Purchase high-quality goods at optimal costs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify alternative products in the market, undertake cost-benefit analysis, and present to management.
  • Handle end-to-end procurement of assigned material and ensure timely delivery of materials at sites and timely payment to suppliers.
  • Control inventory by optimizing lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
  • Transfer excess dead stock to other sites.
  • Create relationships with vendors by finding out their performance from the market and undertaking joint improvement projects.
  • Effective coordination with all sites; regular site visits.
  • Creating strong networking within and outside the organization.
  • Continuous monitoring, review, and taking timely corrective action to achieve targets.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Expert in construction material.
  • Handle end-to-end procurement of assigned material and ensure timely delivery of materials at sites and timely payment to suppliers.
  • Experience in High-rise buildings (preferred).
  • Enhance value of product/services and make annual rate contracts obtain alternate products/vendors or substituting OEM's.
  • Good negotiation skills/presentation skill for effective coordination with all sites.
  • Control inventory by optimizing lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
  • Research-oriented job.
  • Continuous monitoring, review, and taking timely corrective action to achieve targets.
