Job Title: Automation Tester

Description

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. As an Automation Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop robust automated test scripts using Cypress for web-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software application functionality, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Maintain and enhance the automation framework, test infrastructure, and test data management systems.
  • Analyze test results, track defects, and provide timely status reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in automated testing using the Cypress framework.
  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
  • Solid understanding of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, REST, APIs).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Certification in Cypress or other automation testing frameworks.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Azure DevOps) and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
