Job Description

The Business Risk Analyst II is a developing professional role, responsible for monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data to identify policy gaps and formulate policies. This position requires the ability to interpret data and make recommendations, as well as research and interpret factual information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and document changes for functional and business specifications, writing detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and training purposes.
  • Review updates to procedures with analysts, team leads, and managers to identify considerations for management and compliance evaluation.
  • Break down technical process flow charts and translate data into easy-to-follow step-by-step procedures for day-to-day activities.
  • Liaise with training on procedure updates to ensure incorporation into training materials for new and existing employees.
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and non-system driver changes.
  • Assist in proposal preparation for developing new systems and operational changes.
  • Participate in studies of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility.
  • Resolve problems including organizational, procedural, technical, research, and analysis.
  • Develop processes and procedures to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and internal and external customer service.
  • Avoid or minimize risk when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
  • 0-2 years of experience in writing procedural documents, driving process improvements, and executing change management concepts.
  • Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Excel.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Good understanding of team interactions and accomplishments.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
