Job Description

This is a full-time position in our Security Operations Center team, responsible for monitoring and analyzing security alerts 24/7.

  • Maintaining situational awareness and identifying potential security threats through continuous monitoring of enterprise customers' networks, systems, and applications.
  • Analyzing and investigating security incidents, including threat detection, incident response, and forensic analysis.
  • Developing and implementing SOAR automation scripts to improve incident response efficiency.
  • Collaborating with the cybersecurity team to identify and address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies, and applying this knowledge to improve our security operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a SOC role, preferably in a tech company.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including network and system security, threat detection, and incident response.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Python, and shell scripting.
  • Experience with git and GitHub.
  • Knowledge of the MITRE framework and cyber kill chain concepts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think critically, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in networking or system administration, with a strong desire to transition into cybersecurity.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
  • Experience with cloud security, application security, and threat detection.
