**Job Title:** Body in White Underbody Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body in White Underbody Engineer to join our team.

**Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a variety of BIW underbody concept alternatives and detailing the concepts through to manufacturable, approvable components. The role involves constructing/designing the respective range of underbody components in the serial development phase.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in CAD - CATIA V5 design concept 2D / 3D / Mockup and have experience with high workloads and precise methodologies. In addition, they should have knowledge of BMW data related to the entire vehicle development process and New Product Development.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Min. 5 years of experience in automotive industry or equivalent qualification as CAD technician with relevant experience.
  • CAD skills: Proficiency in development of vehicel underbody parts using CATIA V5.
  • Material selection: Skill in material Selection & compatibility.
  • Manufacturing: Knowledge of series production & releases.
  • Lean manufacturing: Familiarity with Lean manufacturing & DFM.
  • Problem-solving mindset: Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to think critically.
