Identity Expert for Okta Solutions

This role focuses on expertise in designing, configuring, and implementing Okta Identity Cloud features.

Responsibilities include serving as a technical lead, integrating Okta with various applications, and working closely with stakeholders to define access control strategies.

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Okta solutions across projects.
  • Design and implement Okta Identity Cloud features including SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, Universal Directory, and API access management.
  • Integrate Okta with cloud and on-prem applications using SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and other protocols.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders, engineering teams, and security leads to develop identity workflows.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in architecture, implementation, integration, and support of Okta-based solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Key qualifications include:

  • 6+ years of overall experience in IAM with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Okta Identity Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and API security.
  • Experience with Okta Workflows, custom scripting, and identity automation.
  • Familiarity with integrating Okta with cloud services.
  • Understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
