As a financial analyst, you will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data science teams to create cutting-edge solutions that meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced portfolio intelligence tools and analytics components, working in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze portfolio- and security-level performance, risk, and attribution to provide actionable insights, driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Decompose returns to identify key drivers of alpha, beta, and idiosyncratic outcomes, supporting data-driven investment strategies.
  • Conduct market, macroeconomic, and security-level research to support client workflows and product insights, enhancing business knowledge.
  • Validate, interpret, and communicate financial metrics effectively to both internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring seamless communication.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a front-office financial role, preferably in investment banking, hedge funds, or asset management.
  • Exceptional analytical and Excel skills, with strong proficiency in financial modeling and interpreting large datasets, driving business growth.
  • Demonstrated understanding of core investment concepts: portfolio theory, risk attribution, yield, drawdown, correlation, and volatility, providing context for business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for institutional clients, fostering effective relationships.
  • Demonstrated passion for financial markets, investment strategies, and institutional workflows, promoting professional growth.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Familiarity with institutional investment processes, research platforms, and financial data tools, leveraging technical expertise.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-ranked university in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
  • Minimum GPA of 8.0+ (required), IIT/IIM/ISB preferred, highlighting academic achievement.
  • CFA, FRM, or MBA is a significant plus, demonstrating professional credentials.
  • Experience with tools like Bloomberg, FactSet, or data programming languages (Python, R) is a valuable asset, showcasing technical skills.
