Senior Big Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Big Data Engineer to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for professionals who have in-depth knowledge of big data technologies and are passionate about architecting, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient and scalable solutions for complex data processing problems using advanced algorithms and data structures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical strategies that meet those needs.
  • Develop high-quality software using Agile methodologies and ensure complete documentation and traceability throughout the development process.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.

In this role, you will have hands-on experience working with PySpark, designing principles, and object-oriented programming concepts. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to write complex queries to derive business-critical insights and work with NoSQL technologies like MongoDB and Dynamo DB.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in big data technologies, including Spark, Hadoop, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and containerization tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
