Job Description

The role of Associate Director, Brand Equity involves leading the development and implementation of a robust brand program to drive equity and preference among customers.

This entails building Masterbrand architecture strategy on the category, creating positioning with strong BCI, and crafting 360 Brand campaigns to drive equity and preference.

Key responsibilities also include creating multi-channel communication strategies for the master brand through product superiority, core brand thematic, and purpose-driven campaigns. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for building brand purpose platforms and developing 'Always On' Digital plans for a 12-month calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy to drive business growth.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brand teams, insights teams, R&D, legal, and regulatory departments.
  3. Plan and execute campaigns and projects in close partnership with stakeholders within the organization and external agencies/partners.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business KPIs and achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in core brand management in FMCG categories with handling significant brand campaigns.
  • Educational qualification - MBA (Major in Marketing preferred).
  • Experience - 8-10 years (Minimum 3 years in brand management/brand equity).
  • End-to-end exposure in creating brand TVCs and campaign planning.
  • Deep working knowledge of gathering consumer insights and deriving strategic execution-oriented insights.
  • Commercial acumen to efficiently manage marketing and media budgets.
  • Understanding of navigating the brand world and closely working with agencies.
