We are seeking a skilled Structural Designer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and experience with Revit/BIM project delivery.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop 3D models that meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Create 2D production drawings that are clearly annotated, dimensioned, and detailed according to company standards.
  • Manage the BIM workflow including folder organization, sheet sets, geo-location, plots, conversions, and transmittals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain structural BIM / CAD files for use in the structural design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, troubleshooting).
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to coordinate BIM modelling content and approaches, model exchanges, quality control, and delivery.
  • Use tools such as Navisworks for project collaboration across multiple disciplines.
  • Prepare and review project deliverables for client submissions.
  • Create 3D views or renderings on an as-needed basis for marketing or project use.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • Professional experience in AutoCAD and Revit is mandatory.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise with Revit software.

  • Strong understanding of how a building comes together.
  • Ability to think in 3-D.
  • Ability to draw sections and details with minimal input from the engineer.
  • Proficiency with written and verbal communication skills.
