Job Opportunity: Senior Data Engineer

The company is seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines to support business solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize data delivery, automate manual processes, and improve internal process efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources using SQL.
  • Develop advanced working knowledge of relational databases, query authoring SQL, and familiarity with diverse databases.
  • Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment and contribute to project management efforts.

Requirements:

  • BE/B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. degree with 5+ years' experience in Data Analytics/Data Engineering.
  • Experience with Data Analytics services like EMR, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, MSK, Elasticsearch, Quicksight, and Redshift.
  • Knowledge of big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, and relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
  • Understanding of data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and machine learning concepts/algorithms.
