Job Overview

The Area Credit Manager plays a pivotal role in leading a team of credit specialists responsible for end-to-end credit underwriting and disbursal of mortgage and retail loans.

  • Credit assessment and underwriting of mortgage loan applications, adhering to product and policy norms from origination to disbursal.
  • Evaluating loan applications for creditworthiness, aligning with Know Your Customer (KYC) standards, credit bureau assessments, and financial evaluations.
  • Overseeing the disbursal of Mortgage Loans, including all requisite checks and verifications, in coordination with legal, technical, and processing vendors.
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients through in-person meetings and discussions to ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintaining efficient processing timelines and participating in internal and external audits.
  • Effectively managing vendors, encompassing quality monitoring and training.
