Job Title: Financial Analyst

About the Role:

As a financial analyst, you will be responsible for all month-end close activities as per US GAAP, day-to-day transactions, and ensuring compliance of corporate policies and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all month end close activities as per US GAAP;
  • Responsible for day-to-day transactions and ensure compliance of corporate policies and processes;
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly profit and loss statement and balance sheet reconciliation;
  • Assistance in resolving ad hoc queries as and when raised by internal stakeholders;
  • Review of the fixed asset register and reconciliation with the books on a monthly basis;
  • Assisting other team members by providing inputs on the processes;
  • Co-ordination with auditors for timely closure of audits;

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in managing information systems/statutory reporting;
  • Preferred experience in a technology company, particularly with subscription or SaaS business;
  • Proven experience in multinational environment and knowledge of finance and accounting in other markets. MIS and financial reporting;
  • Experience in managing the month end close process with a close cycle of 4 business days or less;
  • Knowledge/experience in accounting standards: U.S. GAAP or IGAAP;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel features and functionalities;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication;
