We are evolving into a modular operating system for all service businesses that bill by the hour. To achieve this vision, we need a Senior Technical Architect with expertise in AWS and platform design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and document the current platform architecture; identify bottlenecks and produce an Architecture Gap Report.
  • Translate product epics into service contracts, data flow diagrams, and scalable system components.
  • Decide and implement optimal architectural patterns (monolith vs. microservices, REST vs. event-driven, DB index vs. cache).
  • Drive multi-tenant architecture for user/workspace models and complex permission systems.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role.
  • Strong full-stack expertise with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
  • Demonstrated success in designing multi-tenant architectures and scalable systems handling high traffic.
  • Advanced proficiency in AWS, including EC2, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudFront, and Cognito.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines).
  • Experience working with observability stacks like Datadog, New Relic, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of summarizing trade-offs clearly for stakeholders.
